[EDITED/INFO] SORIBADA OFFICIAL INFO – which sites count, how to make it count
UPDATE: I’m sorry! I made a mistake 
Now that Soribada tweeted clearer info, I have changed some of the info. The changes were: Soribada’s Korean site does NOT count trial streaming and that it DOES COUNT full song streaming. Again, I’m sorry about my mistake. ALSO, new info: no foreigners can purchase music on Soribada’s Korean site. (It doesn’t really matter anyway since there’s an English site to purchase from.)
This is info about SORIBADA not Melon, Naver, or whatever else Korean music site…
Downloading and streaming at Soribada’s KOREAN SITE (http://soribada.com/#) COUNTS for music show rankings and end of the year awards (for example, GDA). Trial listening does not count!
ONLY downloading at Soribada’s ENGLISH SITE counts for music show rankings and end of the year awards like GDA. Trial listening at Soribada’s ENGLISH SITE (http://kpop.soribada.com) does NOT count…
KEY:
Downloading means purchasing songs with a credit card…
Trial listening means listening to those 1 minute previews of songs..
Streaming means listening to the full song..

*Full song streaming only applies to Soribada’s Korean site.
Soribada stated that you need a music card to do full song streaming. (Sorry I don’t know how it works because I never bought the music card. So I can’t post instructions.) A few weeks ago, you could still purchase one, but now they are having license issues and you are unable to get a music card. The full song streaming does not matter anymore (at the moment) to help SJ.

DOWNLOADING = PURCHASING
Since it is easiest to purchase music from Soribada’s English site (http://kpop.soribada.com) AND foreigners are not allowed to buy on their Korean site, here is how:
1 – Create an account here (it’s in English):

2 – Then you must purchase a download pass. Read this site carefully about the download pass. They provide the links on how to purchase the pass. You must use a credit card from this point.

3 – Now to purchase the 5th album! SJ’s 5th album will be available on Soribada’s English site tomorrow. It will be released on August 3 at 11 a.m. KST. Just check back on Soribada’s English site (http://kpop.soribada.com) and you will find SJ’s 5th album, Mr. Simple. (http://kpop.soribada.com/En/Artist/album.php?AID=AK007896&TID=KA0045213)
Then to download the album, simply click “Download”.

Another important fact: repeated downloads on ONE account will not count. Use another account and it will, hehe ^^

- Online streaming is counted towards digital points along with digital album sales.
- Digital points are included in music charts calculation, (e.g. Music Bank’s K-Chart), and year end ceremonies, (e.g. Golden Disk Awards)

So as you can see, online streaming is really important and physical album sales only count most at the end of the year.
What does count are full song streams, which can be done by foreigners through Soribada and Mnet. It isn’t free, and the price for the Music Card/Mnet Ticket which is needed for streaming costs about $7 (USD). A tutorial on how to buy the card and stream can be found here.
International fans can also help out by streaming with Soribada.
In the past, we could help by streaming for free, but the rules have changed,
and now foreigners can only help by buying a Soribada Music Card.
One costs roughly $6.99, and with it you can download up to 40 songs online.
I know that most of us don’t want to spend a ton of money,
and that many of us don’t have credit cards or paypal but if you do…..
its important to note that streaming is THE MOST important thing to help Super Junior win, even more so than buying an album.
Streaming helps for Mubank, Inkigayo (60% is downloads online), M!countdown, and it even helps count towards many End Of The Year Ceremonies (i.e. Golden Disk Award) and its something even International Fans can help out with!

[TUTORIAL] To buy a digital song from Mnet!
If you just want to buy one song, MNET is an alternative option! Each song is 600 won on MNET (about .50 cents in USD) and the lowest amount you can purchase is 1000 won, so if you don’t have much to spend, this is the way to go! You can use a credit or debit card for this!
*USE INTERNET EXPLORER* ~ FIRST, you’ll need to create an MNET account! Click here and follow these instructions:
*NOTE for Americans* It will redirect you to the MNET America homepage. Just click on the MNET Korea icon on the top right hand corner and proceeeed!

STEP 1: Click on the foreigner account box!
STEP 2: Agreements and etc
STEP 3: Create a username/password
STEP 3a: Get authentication number from email
The email should look like this and you should get it within seconds of clicking the “certification button”. It will contain your authentication number (has been erased from image). If you don’t see it in your inbox right away, check your spam folder!
STEP 4: Log in!
STEP 5: Put money on your account!
This box should pop up…
Then it will ask you for your information
After you press that pink button, a box will pop up that says “may take up to 4 minutes for your payment to process”
A bunch of other pop up windows will pop up after this, you can just close them! Now you’re ready to buy!
STEP 6: Find the songs you want to purchase
STEP 7: Download MNET Quick Manager
This box will pop up. Just accept the plugin and let it install!
STEP 8: After it’s all installed…buy/download the song!
Check the box(es) of the song(s) that you want to purchase, make sure you select the folder you want it to DL to on the right, and select the bit rate (file quality; 320 recommended!) you’d like to download in. And then click the pink arrow at the top
Disregard the songs listed. Make sure the first box on the right hand side is selected and then hit DL! Your song should DL right away, you’ll see a pink status bar next to the song. Should take less than a minute to DL!
Go find it in the folder you downloaded it to and….. ENJOY!
